Privacy Policy

The privacy of your personal information is important to me. So I’ve written a Privacy Policy that covers how I collect, use, disclose, transfer, and store your information.


What I collect

I collect certain information or data about you when you use


I collect:

– questions, queries or feedback you leave, including your email address, if you contact

– your email address and subscription preferences when you sign up to my email news and offers, and

– how you use my emails – for example whether you open them and which links you click on,   your IP address, and

– details of which version of web browser you used as well as information on how you use the site, by using cookies and page tagging techniques.

This data can only be viewed by me and anyone authorised by me to:

– improve the site by monitoring how you use it

– gather feedback to improve my services, for example my email news and offers

– respond to any feedback you send me


Where your information is stored

Your information is stored, whenever possible, on secure servers in the European Economic Area (EEA) (except for data that I gather when you sign up to my email news and offers).

Some of my suppliers are based outside the EEA and therefore your information may be accessed outside the EEA. There are strict controls over how and why your information can be accessed.


When you sign up to our email alerts

I use Mailchimp for my email alerts.

Mailchimp has staff based outside the EEA, and stores your data in the United States of America. Mailchimp is certified under the EU-US Privacy Shield framework. When you sign up to my email alerts, you agree to your data being stored in this way.

As a subscriber to my email news and offers, I may contact you from time to time to ask for your feedback on how to improve my email service.

I will continue to send you email newsletters and alerts until you tell me not to or use the unsubscribe option on any of my emails.


Keeping your information secure

I have procedures and security features in place to keep your information secure once I receive it. This is detailed in my Data Protection and Security Policy.


When you make a purchase

When you make a purchase through you use software called WooCommerce, your order and data is stored on this software for a fixed amount of time as set out in my Data Protection and Security Policy. When you pay for your order you use the Paypal system for payment. Your data is stored and protected by Paypal.


Disclosing your information

I will only pass on your personal information if I have a legal obligation to do so, or if I have to enforce or apply my terms of use and other agreements. I won’t share your information with any other organisations for marketing, market research or commercial purposes, and I don’t pass on your details to other websites.

Your rights

You can find out what information I hold about you, and ask me not to use any of the information I collect.

If you’ve signed up for email news and offers, you can unsubscribe or change your settings at any time.
