Artwork and Orders

NEW – Colour Guarantee

Your screen or phone may show different colours to the original painting. So I have introduced a colour guarantee. If the colour of the painting is different to what you thought it was. You can send your painting or print back for a full refund. I will refund the full amount of that you paid but you are responsible for paying the cost of a signed for, trackable delivery back to me. You must notify me within 48 hours of receiving the painting and contact me for authorisation to return it. It must be received by me in perfect, re-saleable condition within 14 days of you receiving it. The painting/print and mount must not be damaged or marked in any way.

How will my order arrive? Cards will be sent out in a reinforced envelope or jiffy bag depending on quantity ordered. All prints and paintings are packed very carefully using layers of card and bubble wrap to protect against water damage and rough handling by the postal service. Smaller or lighter artworks are sent by Royal Mail signed for delivery, larger or heavier artworks are sent by Parcelforce 48hrs. Having created this work of art myself, I will take the best of care when packing so it arrives with you safe and sound.

How quickly will I get my artwork? I aim to send all orders out within 7 days (unless I am on holiday!). If you need something urgently, please add a note when you place your order or contact me via the contact form. I can’t promise I will be able to accommodate your request but I will do everything I can to get your order to you when you need it. In reality, I am so excited to send your new painting that I usually get to the Post Office within 3 or 4 days depending on prior commitments.

 What happens if I change my mind after placing an order? I understand that sometimes circumstances change and you may wish to cancel an order. That is why I give you 14 days from receipt of your item to contact me regarding a refund. Once the refund is agreed, you have 14 days to return it to me. The artwork must be in the same condition as it arrived, the best way to ensure this is to use the card and bubble wrap it was supplied in if possible, to protect it from rain and knocks during transit. You are responsible for paying the cost of a trackable, recorded delivery back to me. But I will give a full refund of the artwork and original delivery cost upon receipt.

In the first instance, for any refund or return queries, please contact me so we can discuss the issue and make any necessary arrangements.

Please note any customised items or commissions cannot be returned for a refund. All commissions are firm sale.

Data and Privacy

If I place an order with you, what will you do with my personal information?

Plain English Version

  • If you buy something from me, or you sign up to receive my news and offers, it is my responsibility to protect your personal data. This is something I take seriously and signed up to a course to learn all about the new General Data Protection Regulation that is coming in to force in May 2018. As you can imagine it was thrilling BUT I did learn about all the things I need to tell you.

  • First of all, I will NEVER sell your information to anyone for marketing or for anything else.

  • The information you give me when you place an order, I will use to send out your beautiful painting, or print. That’s it! I will not use it for anything else.

  • The information you give me when you sign up to my news and offers email will only be used for that purpose. When you signed up, you clicked the confirmation email I sent you (called a double opt in). Every email you receive from me will have an unsubscribe link, should you wish to stop receiving my emails. Unless you unsubscribe, I will send you my news and offers. I promise you won’t be bombarded. (I hate that too!)

  • I use software such as WooCommerce (the shop bit of my website), Paypal (the payment bit of the shop) and Mailchimp (the programme I use to send out my news and offer emails).  I also use a software programme called Statcounter to monitor how many people view my website pages (they will store the IP address of any visitors to my site). These companies store the information you have given me when you have bought from me or signed up to my email.

  • Mailchimp is stored in the U.S. and is protected by the Privacy Shield.

  • You can ask me at anytime to provide the information I have stored on you. You can also ask me to delete it. But, as I said above, I will only ever use it to either process your order or send you my news and offers by email.
